Senior PHP Developer/ Team Lead

We are looking for PHP developers with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Sysalgo. Your job will be to work with our tech lead & project manager to develop new features and fix bugs under their guidance. Someone having a product development experience would have an added advantage.

Job Description

• 0-3 years of experience in developing state-of-art web applications and e-commerce portals.
• Excellent knowledge of Laravel/CodeIgniter PHP frameworks
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, experience in client-facing roles a plus
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services

• Experience in common third-party APIs
• Excellent development skills in WordPress preferable
• Good Experience of PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, Apache
• Good Experience HTML/HTML5 & CSS skills
• Excellent JavaScript and JQuerycoding skills
• Excellent DB design skills
• Must be able to code in OOPs
• Must have a thorough understanding of MVC frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter.
• Sound Knowledge of Woo commerce, Shopping Cart, E Commerce, Payment Gateway & Content Management System
• Must be familiar with developing REST based APIs with OAuth 2.0

• Should be able to code by considering flexibility, reusability, performance in mind.
• Develop documentation including test plans, installation instructions, internal release notes, and design documents.
• Quick learner with solid analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of LAMP stack
• Working understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Daily report your task to Project management tools like jira, trello or asana.
• Must be able to work independently with less supervision
